I was very lucky to get a room with a view, which I fully took advantage of. If you're a view gazer like me, you will want to upgrade to the better rooms. Another perk of my room, was the glorious bathtub. Don't miss out on that!
The hotel was nice, and clean, and the staff friendly. Breakfast was a bit exorbitant at 28 Euros a day. I know this is sort of the going rate, but I didn't feel I got my money's worth compared to other hotels charging the same price. There are great views from the breakfast room.
The roof top pool was nice, with great views. My room wasn't available yet when I arrived early in the morning, but I was able to have a snooze on a deck chair. I appreciated that very much.
We booked last minute at a reduced rate, but on arrival, we told the receptionist it was our honeymoon and he upgraded us to a lovely Junior Suite. Having arrived in the room, a bottle of champagne was sent up for us.
We checked in at 11 p.m. and although the rooftop restaurant was empty, the waiting staff welcomed us and seated us at a table with a magnificent view of the Acropolis and Athens. The meal was excellent and the service was friendly. The hotel was very accommodating on our two night stay and the roof-top pool is a treat as is the free internet in the comfortable lounge downstairs.
The location is great as well, just a short walk from Syntagma Square.
Service at reception was good and professional.the hotel decor is beautiful,rooms were clean and very nice. Great views from rooms, restaurant-breakfast and rooftop pool.
I loved the location because it was away from the Athens zoo but yet close enough..amazing shops in the area and restaurants,cafes. The rooftop pool was relaxing with great views and a nice breeze.
Altogether great, would go back. The breakfast was amazing, also FRAME next door had good food and ambiance which was affiliated with the hotel.
We had a perfect stay at St George Lycabettus. Excelent service, beautiful design, nice restaurant with one of the best views of Acropolis. Also it has a perfect location: next to the Lykavittos Hill, in Kolonaki, a beautiful neighborhood, in a walking distance to the most interesting places in the city. For sure we will stay there in the next time in Athens.
We organized dinner after our wedding at St.George Lycabettus, in their restaurant on the top floor. Everything was absolutely fabulous, from the amazing view to the top notch and very professional service. The food was really good and we had a very good time.
Many of our guests told us this was one of the best weddings they had attended to, and I believe it is largely due to St.George Lycabettus. My husband and I spent the night there, and the room was great, the view unbelievable... I would definitely recommand this hotel !
